There’s nothing I like more than keeping myself comfy but styled on those chili days ahead of us. After all, fall is officially here.

I got this ¾ sleeves top from Lou & Grey and I absolutely love it. It has a nice thick texture and is somewhat heavy keeping the body warmer. Since this top is very loose I decided to pair it up with this stretchy trouser that look like thick leggings and shape up the body, and ankle booties to dress up the outfit.

Não há nada que eu goste mais do que me vestir confortávelmente, mas com estilo nos dias frios que estão à nossa frente. Afinal, o outono já chegou aqui nos Estados Unidos.
Eu tenho essa blusa de manga ¾ da Lou & Grey que eu adoro. Ela tem uma textura grossa e é um pouco pesada mantendo o corpo mais quente. Como essa blusa é mais soltinha, eu decidi usá-la com esta calça stretch que parece com uma legging de tecido grosso que contorna o corpo. Para finalizar eu coloquei essa ankle boot para dar ao outfit um look mais casual.

Hello ladies,

I recently discovered a skincare brand called Pevonia. I would consider this brand a hidden gem amongst all of the other skincare brands that I’ve tried! This brand offers both at-home care and in-spa treatments. Their products are made with natural ingredients and have options for all types of skin. I received three different products from Pevonia to test out, from their new Stem Cell Phto-Elite Intensive. I have been using the products for a week now and so far I like the results that I am seeing.

I have been using the Stem Cells Phyto-Elite cleanser, serum, and cream. This new product line is made for mature skin or for those who want to prevent the aging sings. I am heading towards my late 20s and it is time for me to start taking more care of my skin.

Next week I will be posting about my personal results from the Stem Cell Phyto-Elite products and I will be hosting a giveaway sponsored by Pevonia.

Recentemente eu descobri uma marca de produtos de pele chamada Pevonia. Eu considero esta marca um “tesouro escondido” entre todas as outras marcas que há por aí! Pevonia oferece produtos de tratamento de pele em spas e para usar em casa também. Eles são feitos com ingredientes naturais e há diversas opções para todos os tipos de pele. Recebi da Pevonia três produtos diferentes de uma linha nova chamada Stem Cell Phto-Elite Intensivo. Eu já estou testando os produtos há uma semana e até agora eu estou gostando bastante do resultado.

Os produtos que estou usando são o Phyto-Elite para limpeza de pele, o serum/soro e o creme de hidratação. Esta nova linha de produtos é feita para pele madura ou para aqueles que querem evitar o envelhecimento da pele. Agora eu que já passei dos 25 anos, está na hora de eu começar a tomar mais cuidado com a minha pele.

Hello my lovely readers! It has been quite some time since my last post. I have been very busy with my two jobs and other exciting things happening in my life. Don’t think that I forgot about you, because I didn’t! I will do my best to post as much as I can.

Anyways, today I wanted to share with you this amazing photo shoot that I did with some of my friends for Mint & Lovely. Mint & Lovely is based in Milwaukee and is owned by two awesome and creative girls, Emilee and Haley. These girls create sophisticated, memorable and one of a kind events. This photo shoot I was part of, it was designed and created by Mint & Lovely to show “How to: Plan a Pretty Picnic”. Lizzibeth provided all jewelry. The day of the photo shoot was hot and muggy but it didn’t ruin the great time we had. Lauren from La Petite Fashionista, Lizzi from Lizzibeth Jewelry, and Lindsey from I Silver Style were part of this fun picnic day.

I come here today to tell you that I have been looking for a stack of 3 necklaces for a long time, and I finally found one that I absolutely love. To me, it is always a great feeling to find something that I have been wanting for a long time and exactly how I imagined. I have been seriously wearing this stack of necklaces almost every day (since I bought them). I have got lots of compliments on them so I decided to tell you about it.

My family has a place in Northern Michigan, we head up there every summer (and winter) to relax, enjoy the family, shop, exercise…you name it. We do a little bit of everything there. People usually don’t think of the Midwest as a vacation destination, most of the people I know go to Florida or California. But I have to tell you, there are gorgeous and unique places in the Midwest too. In the Midwest you can enjoy the Great Lakes, unique restaurants & bars, friendly people, and local brewery’s.

Minha família tem uma casa de férias no norte do Estado de Michigan, a gente vai pra lá todo verão (e inverno) para relaxar, curtir a família, fazer compras, ginástica…Lá, nós fazemos um pouco de tudo. As pessoas geralmente não pensam em ir para o Centro-Oeste dos Estados Unidos como um destino de férias, a maioria das pessoas que eu conheço vão para a Flórida ou para a Califórnia. Mas eu tenho que lhe dizer, há lugares maravilhosos e únicos no Centro-Oeste que valem a pena conferir. Lá você pode desfrutar dos Grandes Lagos (conhecido como Great Lakes), restaurantes e bares únicos, gente super amigável, e cervejaria local.

I have to honest with you, during summer all I want to wear is comfy clothes. I have this white pair of linen shorts that I have been wearing all summer long, and I wear it with anything from a simple cami to a pretty blouse to a light sweater. For the cooler days of summer I like to wear shorts and sweater, just like in this picture. I like how cool and fun it looks.
What are some of your favorite summer pieces?

Eu tenho que ser honesta com vocês, durante o verão eu só quero usar roupas comfortáveis. Eu tenho esse shorts branco de linho que eu estou usando durante o verão inteiro, e eu uso ele tanto como com uma blusinha de alça até com uma malha leve. Nos dias mais frescos de verão, eu gosto de usar shorts com uma malha fina, que nem nessa foto. Eu acho esse look legal e discontraído.

By the way, how do you like my new haircut? I was afraid of cutting it shorter but I kinda like it. My hair also have more ombré so it is much lighter than it was before.

Aliás, o que vocês acharam do meu novo corte de cabelo? Eu tava com medo de cortar mais curto mas eu acho que eu gostei. Eu também fiz mais do ombré então o meu cabelo tá bem mais claro.

Sally Beauty and my BeLiss PRO.

I have been debating about buying a BeLiss PRO for quite a while. For those who don’t know what that is, the BeLiss PRO is the easiest way to curl your hair. This curling tool gently pulls your hair into the machine and makes a perfect curl. I decided to go to Sally Beauty to see if they carried this product. What I found was a store that not only carried what I was looking for but also a large selection of beauty supplies. I loved their selection of O.P.I nail polish (you all know how much I love nail polish), and also their variety of hair products such as hair sprays and shampoos. The sales people were really knowledgeable about the products. I was asking tons of questions about hair products: “What is your best shampoo? I love a laid back look for days that I only have to run errands and I don’t have to work. For those types of days I always slip on my Havaianas, and I try to feel as comfy as I can without losing style. This is a denim shirt I wear quite often. To me it is a great shirt to wear with shorts especially on those not so hot type of days.

Eu amo um look descontraído para os dias que eu não tenho que trabalhar. Dias como esses eu gosto de usar minha Havaianas, e eu prefiro usar algo mais confortável mas sem perder o estilo. Essa camisa jeans eu uso com bastante frequência. Pra mim essa camisa é ótima para usar com shorts especialmente naqueles dias não tão quentes.

Have you heard of the site called Polyvore? This site is a great way of creating collages called “sets” and also a great way to shop. I love browsing in their site. This time I created a wish list for July, and since this is a hot season in the U.S. I was looking for summer products that I have been willing to buy. I have been looking for a pair of fringe sandals and I loved these babes from Jeffrey Campbell. They look pretty comfortable and I think they would look really cute with this white jumpsuit. To add to my wish list I found this coral Kate Spade wristlet wallet that is perfect to wear in the summer.

Desta vez, eu criei uma “wish list” para Julho, e já que esta é uma época quente nos EUA eu estava procurando coisas para usar aqui no verão. Eu sempre quis uma sandália de franja e eu amei essa de Jeffrey Campbell. Ela parece super confortável e eu acho que ficaria uma graça com esse macacão branco. Para adicionar a minha wish list eu encontrei essa bolsa carteira na cor coral da Kate Spade que seria perfeita para usar no verão.

Trend Alert: Overalls

Who ever thought about wearing overalls again? Emma Watson, Emma Stone, and Selena Gomez certainly did. They were spotted on the streets wearing overalls and looking effortlessly cute. This trend was big one day back in the 90s and it might be here to stay. It was actually a big hit this past summer in Brazil, and now it is coming to the U.S. I don’t know if I can pull it off but I am certainly willing to try. You can definitely “play” with overalls and pair it with heels, flats, cropped tops, you name it.

Quem iria imaginar que estaríamos vendo alguém usando jardineira de novo? Emma Watson, Emma Stone e Selena Gomez certamente tiraram essa moda do armário. Elas foram vistas na rua usando jardineiras e o pior é que sem esforço algum elas ficaram super fofas. Será que essa tendência, que um dia era alta nos anos 90 veio para ficar? No verão de 2014 dos brasileiros essa tendência estava super em alta, e só agora está chegando nos Estados Unidos. Eu não sei se eu consigo usar jardineira de novo, mas eu estou certamente disposta a tentar. Ela pode ser usada com um par de salto alto, rasteirinha, flats, cropped tops, você decide.
