Milwaukee Boho Photoshoot

Hi friends, I’ve been wanting to write this blog post for a while so I finally sat down to write it. I did a boho style photoshoot in Milwaukee with some incredible bloggers and photographer. My friend Lauren from @laurenhenesy came up with this amazing vision for a boho photoshoot. She reached out to local Milwaukee companies to work with us and provide what we needed to make the magic happen! Relics Vintage Rentals were amazing to provide us the chairs, dishes, table, swing, and etc. Just look at how amazing the set turned out. The floral crowns really helped our outfits to stand out. The Pink Peony did an incredible job creating these one of a kind floral crowns. I wish my crown lasted forever. Riva, Mei, Lauren, Heiley and I had such a great time taking photos this day. The set turned out so beautiful that everyone was bummed to take it down at the end!

The Perfect Vacation Dress

This week I post this dress from Chic Wish on my Instagram and you guys loved! To me, this is the perfect vacation dress. If I was going to Italy or France, I would be taking this dress with me…and yes, the straw hat would be coming with me too. This linen dress is absolutely gorgeous. It also comes in black, cream, and blue. I had a hard time choosing the color since all of them are beautiful. For reference, I am wearing size small and I think it fits perfect.

Speaking about vacation, one of my dream vacations is to go to Italy. My great-grand-parents emigrated from Italy to Brazil and I would love to visit where they grew up. Have any of you been there? I hope to go in the next 4 years when the kids are a bit older.

Chinelas and Target’s Jumpsuit

I recently discovered a brand of shoes that I became obsessed!! The brand is called Chinelas. The shoes are designed in Chicago and the owner behind the brand has Argentinian roots. I received two different pairs of Chinelas (house shoes) that I’ve been wearing constantly. Both styles of shoes can be worn in many different ways: with jeans, with a dress, faux leggings. Both shoes are also perfect to take with you on trips. Not only they are comfortable but stylish too. See the other pair of Chinelas shoes on this IG post.

I found this cool mid jumpsuit last weekend during a shopping trip to Target. I loved the jumpsuit so much that I wore that same day. I found this exact same jumpsuit online (UNDER $30!!) and similar ones on their website. I thought this jumpsuit would look a bit edgy and stylish with my Saffron Suede Chinelas. I don’t have to comment about my rattan bag, right? You probably have seen me wear this purse almost all Summer. What can I say? Best purse ever! You can find this purse here.

Hellooo babes! It’s been a while since my last post. Is everyone’s Summer as busy as ours? Between family in town and all the Summer activities, I haven’t posted here but I like to keep my Instagram (@colormesassy) active.

I really enjoy showing all of you what I get in my Wantable’s Style Edit. This month of July I received this beautiful black and white striped dress along with other things. If you watch my daily Instagram Stories you might have seen me unboxing all the goodies from Wantable. I received a pair of jeans that I loved but was bummend that didn’t fit. Summer Polka Dot Dress for all Occasions

You might have noticed that for me this year’s summer wardrobe is all about polka dot dresses. Who doesn’t like a good polka dot dress? I keep finding one prettier than the other and can’t help myself buying them. This green polka dot dress is perfect to wear for all occasions this summer. Either a birthday party, night out with your girlfriends, or date night. This dress will surely make you happy and receive compliments. I would recommend purchasing a size larger. I think the length is perfect, not too short or too long. For reference, I am wearing a size small. I like wearing caramel color accessories in the summer. I think this color goes well with almost anything. This rattan bag is a must this summer. I’ve worn it countless times and it’s super, super cute!

Now let’s talk about why I’m so excited this week…it’s been nearly almost 3 years since I last saw my dad. He and my stepmom are coming from Brazil to visit us this Friday. They are also meeting Alex for the first time and will be spending his 1st birthday with us! My dad is also staying for two months with us! Last time I spent that much time with him was before my parents got divorced, over 28 years ago. I cannot wait to see my family and spend some much needed time with them. I already have some really fun ideas of things we can do here. I am over the moon and counting down the days to see them. I am also excited to take lots of pictures while my dad is here. He used to be a photographer in Brazil so I am hiring him for the summer. Just kidding!

In the summer, my hair gets damaged from being in the sun and going in the pool almost every day. I am excited to give my hair proper care this season with Alterna Hair Care Caviar Resort collection. There are two key products I will be using to protest my hair:

1. Caviar Resort Sun Reflection Shine Spray: lightweight hair mix that adds shine and protects your hair from the damaging effects of sun, pool and salt water. This product is good for all hair types. I’ve been using after I shower and when my hair is dry.

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! We had a great time up in Harbor Springs, Michigan. I am sad that vacation is over but happy to be home and working on some great content for you guys. This Summer, I parter with Wantable again to show you some of the great pieces I received from them. My stylist selected some great outfits for me that are exactly my style!

If you are not familiar with Wantable, they are a personal style subscription box. For a $20 styling fee, you’ll receive 7 items to try on at home before you purchase them.

HOW WANTABLE WORKS

It’s pretty simple the way it works. First, you choose a category: STYLE, FITNESS, MEN’S FITNESS; after you take a short style quiz so a stylist can hand-select pieces that you might like according to your style, size, and budget. In your box, you receive 7 items that you can try and keep the ones you love. You can also make requests. The items you don’t like you can send it back within 5 days. If you keep 5 or more items you get 20% off your total. You will only be billed for the pieces you keep, everything else you send it back with the shipping bag and return label provided by Wantable.

I received this red wrap dress in my May’s Wantable Box. My stylist selected some pieces that I really loved including this dress. I also received two pairs of jeans that I was really excited to try on but they didn’t work out.

If you ever dreamed of having your own personal stylist, then I would definitely check Wantable out! I had a great experience and recommend to anyone who wants help choosing an outfit without having to leave your house.
