Today I have a huge Target Holiday Gift Guide to help you get through the shopping madness. Now that Black Friday is coming up, and great sales are everywhere, this is the perfect time to get your Christmas shopping done. I did hours of research looking for the best gifts for kids, for him, her, and the hosts (in case you are attending a Holiday party and need to bring a gift). Everything on this list is from Target and if you have a Target Red Card, you have early access to Black Friday deals. Some of those items are already on sale. If you want to wait till Black Friday, come back to this post on the 23rd to shop! Oh, and share it with your friends and family members if you think they need ideas too.

Athleisure Holiday Gift Guide

We are gearing towards the Holidays so between now and the end of the year, I’ll be sharing with you Gift Ideas, Holiday and Black Friday deals. I want to help you choose the right gift for your family and friends by guiding you to the best sales and gifts.

You can never go wrong by gifting activewear, especially cute ones. More people are now wearing athleisure wear for running errands or getting brunch with friends. The items above can certainly be incorporated into the athleisure wear by mixing workout clothes with casual pieces. For example. If you just left the gym and is going out for lunch, you can throw in a denim jacket over your top, and put a cap on.

Basic t-shirts, like the one above, are perfect for pairing with any color shorts and leggings. The Zella leggings are amazing and have super high reviews. They are a bit pricey but worth the money. They hold up and the quality is great. Those Adidas running shoes are gorgeous, comfortable, and will elevate your athleisure wear. The Adidas sweatshirt is perfect for before and after the gym to keep your body warm for after your workout. They are also super cute to wear everyday with leggings and tennis shoes.

How to Wear Denim Overalls

I received so many compliments on Instagram about this outfit that today I wanted to come here to share with you how to wear denim overalls. First and foremost, I didn’t think I would ever wear denim overalls again since I was 8, but here it is! I’ve been wanting to buy denim overalls for a long time but was afraid to try them on look ridiculous. Well, I was so wrong because I fell in love with them as soon as I put them on. Overalls are a very versatile clothing item. You can wear it all year round and play with accessories and tops. In this instance, I wore them with booties, a cropped tight top, and a sherpa corduroy jacket that is also from Vici Dolls. In the winter, you can wear a black long sleeve shirt with a long teddy coat. Unfortunately, this jacket is not available anymore but you can find other awesome options here. For reference, I’m wearing size small. I wasn’t sure if they were going to fit me because I’m petite, but I was able to adjust the straps and they fit perfect.

If you haven’t heard of Vici Dolls before, they are an awesome and trendy store that sells out very quickly. If you like something you see, I highly recommend you buy it. It may not be there a few days later.

5 Not Your Mother’s Products Worth Buying and Why!

Hi babes! I’m really excited to talk about a few awesome products that I’ve been using for a while and others that recently made their way into my daily hair care routine. It’s not often that I try a hair product that meets my expectations, that’s why I like to read reviews on products before I buy them. Below you will find my review on 4 Not Your Mother’s products that in my opinion are worth buying!

I’ve been using Not Your Mother’s Texturizing Dry Shampoo for a while because a friend recommended to me. I was always skeptical about dry shampoo products because I didn’t think they actually worked. I was sick of washing my hair every day so I gave in and bought a bottle of NYM dry shampoo. This product was life changing! Now I use dry shampoo every other day when I don’t wash my hair or when it looks not so clean.

How to use: shake the bottle well and spray about 10 inches away from roots and throughout hair. Use your fingers to brush off the powder. Once the powder is brushed off, you will be amazed at how wonderful your hair looks!

I received the All Eyes on Me 10-in-1 Hair Perfector from NYM to test it out and I’ve been spraying it over my hair every time I wash. Since my hair is long, it can easily get tangled when it’s wet. This spray has helped a lot with detangling and adding shine, giving it a “healthy” look. I also love the smell of this product and how soft my hair feels after I use it.

How to use: apply over damp, clean hair, and comb through. Your hair will smell amazing!

Double Take Dry Finish Texture Spray – I can no longer live without this product! I’ve been searching for a long time for a product that would give my hair more volume and that was budget friendly. This Dry Finish Texture Spray has surpassed my expectations. I’ve been using it to give my hair more body and volume before photo shoots. This texture spray won’t give your hair that wet sticky mess that most of us hate. This spray will give your hair a unique grip and keep the natural movement of your hair.

How to use: Shake well before using and spray the roots for extra volume through the length of your hair, where you want a textured lift. *Only use on dry hair.

Passion Fruit Kombucha Youth Revital Leave-in Tonic – This product is similar to All Eyes on Me 10-in-1 Hair Perfector. The difference is that this leave-in tonic provides heat protection up to 450 degrees. I typically use this if I am going to be styling my hair with the curling iron. *This product is safe for color-treated hair.

How to use: apply over damp, clean hair, and comb through.

Beach Babe Sea Salt Soft Waves Spray – This spray works really well by just spraying over dry hair and crunching with your hands. Your hair will look naturally wavy with a beachy vibe. I’ve been using this spray every time my hair looks plain. 

How to use: spray over damp or dry hair and style it with your fingers. Let it dry naturally or use a diffuser. 

I am totally addicted to using NYM hair products and I plan on using them in the long run. I love the results that I get from their products and I hope you will too.

I am a Summer kinda gal but when it comes to Fall fashion, I get really excited about shopping for new boots. I wish that I could buy every pair that I love but that would be too many pairs, ha. I recently purchased those Winona Booties because I feel in love with them online. To be honest, I didn’t know if I was going to like them because of the western look. I thought I would give it a shot anyways and I hit the “purchase” bottom. When I got the boots in the mail, I immediately tried them and wore at the same day. Those boots are different from all the boots I own. This pair is very comfortable, the color is beautiful, it fits true to size, and you can wear it with all sorts of outfits.

It’s a bitter sweet to me that today is the last day of Summer. I am excited for the cooler weather and fall fashion but Summers in the Midwest take a long time to come back. This Summer I was fortunate to work with some of my favorite brands and share with you their products and so today I decided to do one last post with a few of my Summer favorite items.

This ChicWish dress is super darling. It is romantic and perfect for an Europe vacation or any vacation :). This dress comes in different colors and I am wearing it in small.

If you have been falling me for a while you might now that I have a thing for polka dots. I completely fell in love with this green polka dot dress from Goodnight Macaroon when I saw it online. I am wearing size small and it’s true to size.

This embroidery dress is super darling. It is also different from any dress I have. This dress from Goodnight Macaroon is on major sale. This dress also comes in black and I am wearing size small.

I wore this floral dress from Goodnight Macaroon many times this summer. I am wearing size small but I would go up one size. Love this dress so much and will definitely wear it again next summer.

I can’t count how many times I wore this jumpsuit this summer and will continually wear it if weather permits. I bought it at Target and the price is so good!

This is another Target dress that I absolutely love. It has cap sleeves and fits perfectly.

Outdoor Activity Ideas for Kids

Sometimes, if I spend too much time in the house with the kids I can go a little crazy. Doing activities outside of the home with the kids keep me sane and it’s fun for me and them!

One of the things that we love doing is organizing play dates with other moms and their kids. It’s nice to share something in common and exchange experiences with other moms.  Keeping yourself busy with the kids and enjoying the beautiful weather is a must for us. When the kids get enough stimulation during the day, they also go to bed early 🙂

A few of our favorite outdoor activities include walking in town and grabbing a coffee for me and a treat for the kids. I love sitting on the sidewalk of coffee shops and watching people pass by. Another great activity is obviously taking the kids to the park. We usually like to rotate parks every week to keep it interesting. Luckily, our city has a good amount of parks to choose from, each with their own flavor. Another thing people sometimes forget about it is to check their local Parks and Rec activity schedule, you will most likely find great (cheap and sometimes free) activities for the kids.

This year we became members of the Public Museum in Milwaukee. It’s really nice when these sort of passes pay for themselves after a few visits within the family! Our museum in Milwaukee is a great place to visit specially in the winter.

My last tip is always keep an eye out for local festivals. In the summer specially, there are lots of festivals happening everywhere. Also, your local Farmers Market can be a great place to go with the kids.  Also, having kids pick their own fruits and veggies at a market is a great way to get them excited to eat healthy!

Hi friends, welcome back!

Let’s talk about this super cute frill sweater for fall, shall we? I love finding different pieces to add to my closet and this sweater is definitely one of them. This is not your average sweater, it has frills on the bottom, sleeves and collar. To be honest, when I got this sweater I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it on me, but when I put it on, I was happy and surprised the way it looked. This Chic Wish sweater should definitely be worn with medium to high waisted pants because it’s a little shorter than the average sweater. I think it looks awesome with jeans and it can be worn at work with slacks and heels.

One big trend I am seeing this fall is the colorblock sweater. I think fall and winter shouldn’t be just about wearing black and grey. Adding some color to your wardrobe in the next seasons will make your outfit look fun, happy and unexpected.

Hi friends, today I wanted to share with you 4 simple ways to style a bodysuit. Hopefully this post will inspire you to wear this awesome clothing piece more often.

  1. One of my favorite ways to style a bodysuit is with high waisted jeans. When you pair the two of them it gives your body a flattering look. I often find it easy to keep outfits simple. The high waisted jeans with a bodysuit and platform shoes usually works for everyone. This bodysuit that I’m wearing is absolutly beautiful. It’s under $20, made well, and very flattering.
  2. There are many different bodysuits that you can get: casual, dressy, sexy. A plain black bodysuit can be worn at work with slacks, blazer and statement jewelry.
  3. Bodysuits are often worn  in the summer. They look fun with denim shorts or skirts, and a pair of sandals.
  4. There’s nothing wrong with using an one piece swimsuit as a bodysuit. They are basically the same after all. You can wear a one piece swimsuit on the beach than throw a cute pair of denim skirt with sandals after for lunch.
